I am Nathalie, a beer loving dog person who is intrigued by astrophysics. And an interaction
designer based in Malmö.
My ambition is to make things not only look good, but feel good. I have a strong will with two
drive forces which allows me to shift between different
attitudes when I design:
THE MINIMALIST who wants to remove unnecessities and neatly highlight the essence, who loves cleanliness and elegancy.
THE ADORNER who wants to enrich what is most significant with vitality, who admires abstractness and vibrancy.
With a passion for creative expression, my main interest has through time traversed between various forms of art and design. Now, after my bachelor's degree in interaction design, I am confident that what I always found compelling about creating was to design human experiences.
nattsv.art is an ongoing Instagram project where I explore different techniques and softwares for visual art, 3D, generative art, animation and sound. In this, I strive to strengthen my practical skills in digital production and learn more about the world of digital art.
Svenska Öl & Romkompaniet
When Svenska Öl & Romkompaniet was founded, I designed printed media such as business cards and flyers for their distribution of 10 Saints - a rum casked aged beer with roots in Bahamas.
Ytterbrew is a brewing company in Ytterby, Sweden for which I designed bottle labels for each type of beer they craft. The sculpted figures on the labels were made with reference to the faces of the Ytterbrew founders.
The death metal band Coffin Creep hired me for a promotional photo shoot and photo editing for their release of the album Voids (2021).
A small selection of my collection I AM that was exhibited in Mimers Hus, Kungälv. The series consisted of 10 works divided into three elements: the external, the mechanical and the divine, and together they formed an artistic representation of a human being.
The video below is part of a visual communications project where I created videos interpreting the album Remnant from one of my favorite electronic musicians, Lorn. Through this campaign I aimed to capture Lorn´s dark aesthetic while adressing mental illness in music that can give rise to the feeling of comfort in discomfort.
Sometimes I also do my own music. But that´s only when I feel frisky.
